Rooted With Khethiwe Publishing exists to develop and publish meaningful Christian books and to help authors faithfully transform the messages entrusted to them into professionally produced works.

We believe that a meaningful book requires more than inspiration. It needs structure, patient development, thoughtful editing and a publishing process that honours both the author and the reader.

Through our own publishing catalogue and our author programmes, we develop books across areas of Christian faith and everyday life, while walking alongside authors from the earliest stages of an idea to a finished book ready for publication.

Our Story

Rooted Publishing began by serving one author well.

What started as support for a developing manuscript grew into a complete publishing journey involving manuscript assessment, developmental guidance, line-by-line editing, proofreading, interior formatting, cover production and preparation for Amazon KDP and print.

That first project became Woman Restored by Lebohang Motshele—the first book published under the Rooted With Khethiwe Publishing imprint.

Through that journey, we recognised a wider need: many authors carry important messages but do not always have the structure, editorial guidance or practical publishing support required to bring those messages to life.

Rooted Publishing was built to help bridge that gap.

What We Believe

We believe that every book should be handled with truth, excellence and stewardship.

Our work is not simply about producing attractive books. It is about helping authors clarify their message, strengthen their manuscript and create a finished work that can continue serving readers for years to come.

The author remains at the centre of the process. We provide professional guidance while preserving the author's voice, vision and ownership of their work.

How We Support Authors

Our publishing pathways are designed to meet authors at different stages:

Rooted Author Programme
For aspiring authors who need help developing their idea, structuring their book and writing with guidance and accountability.

Manuscript Development Programme
For authors with a partial or completed manuscript who need professional assessment, developmental direction and support strengthening the work.

Book Production Programme
For completed manuscripts ready for editing, proofreading, interior design, cover production and preparation for publishing and print.

Every project is assessed individually so that authors enter the programme best suited to the current stage and needs of their book.

Meet the Founder

Khethiwe Sibuyi

Founder and Editorial Director

Khethiwe Sibuyi is the founder and Editorial Director of Rooted With Khethiwe Publishing.

Her work brings together editorial direction, author guidance, project management and complete book production. She works closely with authors to help them move from an inspired message to a clear, structured and professionally presented book.

Khethiwe's approach is both practical and deeply attentive. She believes authors should be supported without losing their individual voice and that the publishing process should be transparent, structured and rooted in excellence.

Her hands-on work includes manuscript assessment, developmental and line editing, proofreading, interior layout, cover coordination, print preparation and Amazon KDP support.

Rooted Publishing reflects her belief that a book is not merely a once-off product. It is a lasting intellectual and spiritual asset—one that can continue teaching, encouraging and serving readers long after it has been published.

Our First Published Project

 

Woman Restored by Lebohang Motshele

Woman Restored marked the beginning of Rooted With Khethiwe Publishing.

The project was developed into a professionally produced 6 × 9-inch book and eight-week Bible study, with Rooted supporting the editorial process, interior design, cover production, print preparation and Amazon KDP publishing requirements.

It became the foundation for the publishing systems and author pathways we now use to serve future projects.

A Growing Catalogue

Rooted With Khethiwe Publishing began with a single title — Woman Restored by Lebohang Motshele — and has since grown into an active Christian publishing house with a growing catalogue of published and forthcoming works.

Our titles span areas of biblical formation, prayer, stewardship, homemaking, motherhood, calling and practical Christian living.
