Awake is a gentle, Scripture-centred 30-day journey for the woman who senses that God is inviting her to pause, return and prepare for what comes next.
Beginning during the Hebrew month of Elul, this devotional draws from the biblical themes of reflection, repentance, remembrance and spiritual awakening that lead towards Rosh Hashanah.
Rosh Hashanah means "head of the year" and marks the beginning of the Jewish civil year. As Christian women, we are not placing ourselves under Israel's covenantal observances. Instead, we are allowing the biblical rhythms surrounding this season to remind us to return to God, examine our foundations and remain spiritually awake.
