A finished book requires thoughtful development, manuscript preparation, professional design, production, publishing infrastructure and, for authors who choose our full-service option, a clear path to launch.
At Rooted Publishing, we guide Christian authors through the important stages of the journey so they don't have to figure out publishing alone.

Start with the message.
Every book begins somewhere — an idea, teaching, testimony, body of knowledge or message that an author believes needs to be written.
We begin by understanding what you are building, why it matters and who you are writing for.

DEVELOP
Shape the book project.
We clarify the book's purpose, audience, positioning, structure and direction.
Depending on the programme, this may include author coaching, concept development, chapter architecture, writing guidance and manuscript development.

PREPARE
Get the manuscript ready.
A strong book needs more than good ideas. The manuscript must be structured, coherent and prepared for professional production.
The appropriate level of manuscript development, editing and preparation depends on the author's needs and selected programme.

PRODUCE
Turn the manuscript into a book.
This is where the manuscript becomes a professionally designed publication. Production may include:
- Interior formatting/typesetting
- Cover design
- Print-ready files
- eBook conversion
- ISBN assistance
- Publishing metadata and preparation
Exact deliverables depend on the programme selected.

PUBLISH
Bring the book into the marketplace.
We guide authors through the practical publishing process, including preparation for Amazon KDP and publication of the book. This may include:
- KDP preparation
- Amazon publishing support
- Amazon Author Profile guidance
- Proof-copy guidance
- Publishing handover

BUILD
Create the infrastructure around the book.
For Rooted Author Launch Programme clients, we go beyond book production and help establish the ecosystem through which the book can be presented and sold. This may include:
- Shopify setup
- Book/product page
- Pre-order infrastructure
- Digital delivery setup
- Sales infrastructure
- Launch preparation
Important: These services are not included in the standard Book Production Programme.

LAUNCH
Move from published to launch-ready.
For Author Launch Programme clients, we prepare the practical assets and infrastructure needed to introduce the book to its audience. This may include:
- Book mockups
- Promotional graphics
- Launch assets
- Pre-order preparation
- Launch guidance
- Sales-page preparation
Ongoing advertising, social media management and continuing marketing campaigns are separate services unless specifically agreed.

HANDOVER
Leave with more than a book.
At completion, the author receives the appropriate final files, publishing information and resources associated with their programme.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
Does every programme include the entire publishing journey?
No. Each programme serves a specific stage. Book Production focuses on producing and publishing the book. Author Launch combines publishing with additional author-platform, sales and launch infrastructure.
Does Book Production include Shopify and launch setup?
No. Shopify setup, preorder infrastructure, digital delivery and broader launch assets are part of the Author Launch Programme or may be purchased separately where available.
Can I start with only a book idea?
Yes. The Authors Programme is designed for authors still developing their book concept and project.
What if I already have a manuscript?
Manuscript Development may be appropriate if it needs refinement. If it is already ready for production, Book Production may be the better starting point.
Can I publish more than one book through a programme?
Each programme is scoped to a single book project. If you have multiple books, please get in touch to discuss the best approach.
